How Immigration Policy Tore My Family Apart

Well, I finally did it.  After almost ten years of working up the nerve, I told my story.   It is still an incredibly sensitive subject and I still experience a lot of emotional turmoil because of it. But I hoped that I could add a voice to the national conversation that itsn’t presently there–the wife who had her husband taken from her.  If I can help in any way, that’s what I want to do.  So Zocalo published it on their website and it was picked up by Huffington Post,, and the L.A.
